Success Story: PennDOT’s Workforce Development Program – ConnectU2Jobs
This year, ProRank Business Solutions is proud to celebrate the incredible success of PennDOT’s ConnectU2Jobs Workforce Development Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to equip individuals with the skills and certifications needed to thrive in the transportation and construction industries.
In its pilot run, the program enrolled eight ambitious trainees, each eager to pave their path toward a brighter future. Through rigorous training sessions and hands-on learning, every participant successfully completed the program, earning an impressive set of industry-recognized certifications:
Flagger Certification: Ensuring safe and efficient traffic control in construction zones.
12 TA-TCI (Technical Assistant – Transportation Construction Inspector) Certification: Developing critical skills for inspecting and assisting in transportation construction projects.
OSHA 10 and 30 Certifications: Prioritizing workplace safety and understanding the complexities of construction industry standards.
CPR – First Aid Certification: Equipping trainees to respond to emergency situations with confidence.
These certifications not only demonstrate the trainees’ dedication but also open doors to meaningful career opportunities in Pennsylvania’s infrastructure projects and beyond.
This success reflects the commitment of PennDOT, ProRank Business Solutions, and our partners to workforce empowerment. With a 100% completion rate for the pilot program, the future looks bright for ConnectU2Jobs and the countless lives it will impact in the years to come.
